Radio On

Sadly I learned about Modern Lovers' Roadrunner far too late. I think I heard it for the first time in 2009 or so. It's not my fault, I don't have an older brother that listened to cool music. I loved how Jonathan Richmond sang about driving on 128 at night and by the Stop & Shop and just being in love with Massachusetts. Sounds like a song that you'd hear on NESN in between innings of a Red Sox game. Nope, it's a real song, by a real band, and it was a real hit. Amazing!
Fast forward a few years and my musical yin to my yang says to me "You should do a house remix of Roadrunner."  Good idea.  Though I'm not the best person to ask, I'll take up that challenge.  What we have here is a more mid 2000's, proggy house, unfinished remix of Roadrunner.  When I presented it to my friend he said, "not really what I had in mind but OK."  There's pieces I really like that have potential.  Will I ever go back to it?  Who knows?  That's why it's here.
