Phenedate - Reasonable Birth
A graveyard, the cutting room floor, a time capsule, a hyperbaric chamber. All the music that just never made it to any place I ever considered finished. Some are just cool loops, other are little ditties that I know won't ever get messed with again, others are so old that I don't have the original pieces for. Will I revisit it? Maybe. Until then, it ends up here.

Reasonable Birth
A few years ago I decided to dust off the piece of software that inspired me to make music in the first place. Re-Birth kinda changed my life in the summer of '99 and I felt it still had some usefulness. Even though Propellerheads' Reason essentially replaced it and surpassed it on many levels, Re-Birth still had a few key sounds that weren't so easily emulated on Reason, particularly that of the Roland TB-303. This track is sequenced with Reason with Re-Birth rewired in. I mirrored the 303 to give it a bit of depth and the end result is a poor man's DJ Dan type sound. I just kind of quickly sequenced it and haven't touched it since. Totally unmastered but I know there's something there that's good. Why? Cause my wife likes it. She doesn't like anything I do, so her opinion actually means something in this case.
